In this unit we will be investigating stress and stress management as well as how we can respond to stress in healthy ways that assist personal growth and build positive friendships. We will also look at peer influence; identifying healthy ways to respond to peer pressure and positive ways to resist negative peer influence.
We will be learning:
On Day 1 in Class: Discussion, Brainstorming, Begin “Stress and Me” assignment
On Day 2 in Class: Complete “Stress and Me”, Discussions, Work on Scenarios
Complete and hand in “Stress and Me” assignment: This will be graded by your teacher based on completeness and quality of responses.
On Day 3 in Class: Discussions, scenarios, and work on presentation

The presentation will be graded via the attached rubric. Each group will be graded by the teacher and their peers. The group mark for the presentation will be 50% from the average of all peer-group marking and 50 % from the grade provided by the teacher.
