Learning Intention: To be able to communicate pictorially.
Students have learned that the Aztecs used glyphs to write down their history instead of using words. Today, students received a piece of the story about the first meeting of the Aztecs and Spanish. They have each been given a wedge of paper to draw their part of the story. Once everyone is done all the wedges will come together to create an Aztec Calendar story of the deadly meeting between the Spanish and Aztecs.
Work Periods: Tuesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 8
