Language Arts - Today in class we discussed the different types of conflict found in literature. This included man vs man, man vs nature, man vs self, and man vs society. Students took notes and generated examples for each. We then read "Lamb to the Slaughter" by Ronald Dahl. Tomorrow we will be examining conflict in the short story.
Social Studies - Student began research today on a specific role in the Medieval Ages that they received by drawing a slip of paper from a cup. Each student must answer 17 questions regarding their role in order to complete a group assignment that we will be beginning on Thursday.
Work Periods: Tuesday, October 10 and Wednesday, October 11
Due Date: Thursday, October 12 (in order to be able to contribute to the group portion of the assignment.
