Today was a double Social Studies period where the students work on questions regarding how geography and history affected the Worldviews of the Aztecs and Spanish. We also created a simulation of the Spanish Inquisition to visualize better just how many people were exiled (or left) Spain during this time. From there we discussed the impact on the economy and how that eventually led to the Spanish funding explorations westward. Students will get some time tomorrow to finish the assignment.
