Tomorrow is your "Solving Equations Quiz". As always, each quiz or exam has a section for a parents/guardians signature. Once graded and entered into record, tests are given to students to take home for that signature, so families are always cognizant of their child's progress . Here is the Powerpoint presentation from today's class. The designated problems on slide 7 are due for homework on Monday, February 26th. Pages 145147 from the practice workbook are also due for homework on that same day. (Reminder: A copy of the practice book is posted in D2L)
The answer keys for last nights assignments will be posted tomorrow for weekend review and preparation for your upcoming quiz!
Today in class we covered the basic aspects of linear equations and graphing as well as reviewing the answers to the assigned textbook questions 59 on page 324; provided and discussed last week. Here is a presentation on the notes discussed today. We will finish up this document tomorrow and the questions provided on slides 1012 are due for homeworkto be completed prior to class on Thursday, February 22nd.
As usual, the practice workbook pages are posted in D2L for those who do not have the book itself. We are working in Unit 6 and this Wednesday night's homework is pages 142143, in addition to the textbook practice that we will begin in class. Below: Please find the answer keys for the questions we reviewed in class today and for pages 139141 in the practice book (which were this past weekend's homework). Students are expected to check their own work here and bring their questions to class or to 'Math Help' at lunch time on Wednesdays.
Here are some basic notes on 'Linear Equations and Graphing' to start the unit. They contain some basic definitions (vocabulary) and examples.
Tomorrow (Tuesday, February 20th) questions 59 from the powerpoint reviewed last Thursday are due. They were assigned for homework. Homework practice workbook pages 139141 were also assigned as homework. They should be complete for tomorrow's class!
