Today students had the opportunity to practice one of the methods of separation; filtration. Students filtrated two mixtures; water with peach juice crystals and water with coffee grounds. There was an examination of the solution BEFORE filtration and what happened to the solution because of filtration.
In math students we first re-visited our work on multiplying negative and positive numbers together. Then students began to work on multiplying two negative numbers together.
